#AskKenneth 75: Hip Thrust

When I was doing Hip Thrust, someone asked me between sets. He asked me which muscle group I was training. He thought it was "abs" exercise.

Hip Thrust is not abs exercise. It's #Glute exercise. The exercise can strengthen your weak glutes, weak lower back and fat hamstrings. Glutes are your engine. They are so powerful if they are strong. The glutes are designed to extend the hip or pull the leg behind the body. If your glutes are underdeveloped, your speed, power and strength are all compromised.

When I was preparing for my weightlifting competition. I did a lot of Hip Thrust to strengthen my weaklink.
